Tools for Climate Action

The document begins by introducing the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement. Then look in detail at other tools that are linked to the Agreement and that frame the actions and plans of countries as they strive to meet the targets of the global climate agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Lastly, we share information about the Escazú Agreement, a pioneering treaty intended to guarantee the full and effective implementation of access rights and help protect the environment and human rights in Latin America and the Caribbean.
