Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Technology Screen (RETScreen)

The RETScreen Software Suite, which consists of RETScreen 4 and RETScreen Plus, is a decision-support tool used to evaluate the energy production and savings, costs, emission reductions, financial viability and risk for various types of renewable-energy and energy-efficient technologies (RETs). RETScreen 4 is an Excel-based clean energy project analysis tool that helps decision makers quickly and inexpensively determine the technical and financial viability of potential renewable energy, energy efficiency and cogeneration projects. RETScreen Plus is a Windows-based energy management tool that allows project owners to easily verify the ongoing energy performance of their facilities.
